Patrons of the Dunedin School of Art Foundation

For those who would like to have a more in-depth relationship with contemporary art, artists and collecting, the Dunedin School of Art Foundation has developed the Patrons of the Dunedin School of Art Foundation.  Being a patron of the Dunedin School of Art Foundation will place you on the inside of our creative institution and connect you directly to local, national and international contemporary visual arts.

Patrons enjoy private tours of the Dunedin School of Art, exclusive discussions with curators and artists, private receptions, exhibition previews and other curated events. By joining you will help support the aims of the Dunedin School of Art Foundation.

Our group of patrons is bespoke and intimate - you will identify with the history and character of the Dunedin School of Art as the oldest tertiary art school in New Zealand. You will want to use this reputation to extend your knowledge of art and develop relationships with the local and national art scene.

Many famous artists are associated with the Dunedin School of Art including Colin McCahon, Toss Woollaston, Marilynn Webb and Ralph Hotere. Closer to our time, Simon Kaan, Rachael Rakena, Michel Tuffery, Marie Strauss, Kurt Adams and many others continue to endorse our School as alumni. By joining as a patron, you will become a part of this rich history and our exciting future.
